Test Jacket
Cyanotype print on bleached jacket
February 2021 Update
For this, I have the gardening store to thank.
One of the biggest frustrations I've had when applying developer on fabric was leeching. I'd lay a square tape boundary, brush on the liquid, and peel it off to find a round blotch of soaked fabric. The issue was saturation, but a dryer brush resulted in "scratchy" prints. The solution? An everyday pesticide sprayer. To conserve materials, the developer is diluted 1:4 with water and misted onto the fabric. The lines aren't pin straight by any means, but I'm happy with the results. My philodendron, however, is not enthused with the pruning.
